Shell has partnered with the Women In Energy Network (WIEN) to provide broader learning platforms for female professionals in the energy sector. This collaboration will increase Shell’s participation in WIEN’s activities and create an avenue for sharing knowledge amongst members.
On June 11, 2024, WIEN President Mrs. Eyono Fatai-Williams led a delegation to Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO) Limited. She emphasized WIEN’s commitment to offering a learning platform that provides industry experience to its members within Shell. Mrs. Fatai-Williams also highlighted the value of Shell’s internal capacity-building resources for learning and mentorship.
During the visit, Mrs. Fatai-Williams informed SNEPCO’s Managing Director, Mrs. Elohor Aiboni, that WIEN conducts over 2,000 hours of active learning annually. This effort focuses on preparing female professionals for industry opportunities.
