WIEN Showcases Women’s Leadership at Offshore Well Intervention West Africa (OWI WA) 2025

The Women in Energy Network (WIEN) proudly participated as an exhibiting partner at the Offshore Well Intervention West Africa (OWI WA) Conference 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria, reaffirming our mission to amplify the visibility and contributions of women across the energy value chain.

The OWI WA Conference is a premier platform for stakeholders in offshore well intervention, providing opportunities for knowledge exchange, networking, and the presentation of innovative technologies that drive growth in West Africa’s energy industry.

WIEN’s Contribution to OWI WA 2025

As part of its engagement, WIEN hosted an exhibition stand that showcased its mission, programmes, membership opportunities, and collaborative initiatives. The Network also contributed directly to the conference programme with two featured speakers:

  • Dorothy Eboh, Consultant, Multus Competentia Ltd., delivered an impactful presentation that highlighted WIEN’s leadership and expertise in the energy sector.
  • Onome Jonathan-Olarotimi, Technology Business Development Lead at CypherCrescent Limited, was represented in her absence, ensuring WIEN’s perspective was strongly reflected in the discussions.

Strengthening WIEN’s Voice

Through its participation, WIEN engaged industry stakeholders, fostered meaningful connections, and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting gender diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Network continues to leverage regional and global platforms to showcase women’s expertise, build strategic partnerships, and drive positive change within the energy industry.
