As Nigeria advances its ambition of becoming Africa’s Global Gas Powerhouse, developing a skilled, diverse, and future-ready workforce has become as important as expanding infrastructure and attracting investment. Building the next generation of technical professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry leaders will be critical to sustaining long-term growth across the gas value chain and delivering the objectives of the Decade of Gas.

WIEN’s participation brings together one of Nigeria’s foremost professional networks championing women’s leadership, capacity development, and inclusive participation across the energy industry.
